Collaboration Experimentation
James and I are working to come up with new collabs. He printed this shot from one of our hikes of the Jordan River Valley on mixed media paper so I can play with doing some painting on it. I decided to split it up into sections so I can try different things and take some of the pressure off (new collabs are always intimidating and it's hard not to be treat them to preciously).
When I get around to playing with the far right, I will do a combo with the things I liked best about each style.
The far left I'm going bolder and looser.
The middle I'm playing with more controlled washes with the tiniest bit of color so it makes the viewer wonder if it is black and white or color.
Love it. The far left is my fave.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sheri! I liked it more than I expected. I need to get around to doing a hybrid approach on the far right. Maybe that will be my project tomorrow!
