Here's Lookin At You

Today I started Arleesha Yetzer's Skillshare class on Getting into Gouache. I love her instructional style plus I've been doodling and drawing eyes since my very first sketchbook. The familiar subject matter is helping take out the stress of better understanding this new medium. Here is the sketch in gouache/underpainting of the basic shapes and values. 

So far I've also done a little color wheel of the mixes in my limited palette and a warm up pencil sketch of the reference eye
