Horse Chestnut

I couldn't help myself. I did another blind contour. They really fit in with everything else I have going on and I think they're so fun! This time I drew one of the horse Chestnut flowers that adorn my studio wallpaper. 

I'm really happy with the overall gesture and shape, especially that little leaf cluster at the bottom. I still want to try a hybrid where I allow myself to draw a bit while looking when I'm done but so far I've liked the drawings too much to do that. 

I even went around the house today and found a bunch of objects that would be fun to draw blind. I'm bringing them to class on Monday for my students!
